Thorben is a hybrid live-action + CGI product film developed in collaboration with filmmaker Luis Núñez. While Luis led the live-action production, I created the 3D animation sequences used to reveal the heater’s internal system, key features, and smart functionality through a clean, premium visual language.
Client & Objectives
Created for Thorben, the project aimed to present the heater as a modern home product that combines comfort, technology, and everyday usability. The live-action scenes established a domestic context, while CGI was used to explain how the product works internally, making technical features clear, visual, and engaging.
Process
The piece was built through a hybrid pipeline that combined filmed lifestyle footage with 3D visualization and motion graphics. After the live-action production, the product was recreated and animated in 3D to generate exploded views, internal breakdowns, UV filtration sequences, heat flow visuals, and smart control demonstrations. The goal was to make the transition between practical footage and CGI feel seamless, while turning technical information into a premium visual experience.
